Janu sirshasana ( head to knee pose )

“This asana tones the liver and spleen and therefore, aids digestion. It also activates the kidneys. People suffering from prostate gland will benefit by staying longer in this pose. They should practcie this asana along with the sarvangasana – (shoulderstand)”. ~ B.K.S Iyengar


Pravrrta janusirshasana means to revolve,  it is a very invigorating pose, in addition to the effects of the original janu sirshasana, this stimulates the blood circulation to the spine and relieves back aches.
